Thanksgiving came and went. We had quite the adventure of having our water heater go out the day before. So, it was good timing to have Thanksgiving so we could just go to Grandma's and have a nice hot shower there. Mark is a great handy man and had it fixed the day after Thanksgiving. Hopefully, nothing else will go out during a holiday.
It's hard to believe that December has begun. The children are so excited for Christmas to come. We decorated our tree the day after Thanksgiving, but I wasn't thinking straight and didn't take any pictures of the event. The advent calendars are always a hit, but I made sure that a chart was made so there would be no fighting over who got to put what advent calendar piece on that day.
With this time of year also comes the common cold. We have all had a form of that over the past three weeks. Mark was the last to succomb and I think he got it the worst. I just hope we can stay healthy enough when the baby comes.:)
I am counting down and have less than 6 weeks to go in my pregnancy--and I have never gone to my due date. So, I am getting excited to see this little guy. Lydia can't wait for "her baby" to come out of her tummy too. She talks about her baby every day saying things like "my baby is kicking" or "my tummy is getting big, she's almost ready to come out". It's been a great laugh. Other than the kids fighting over who gets to hold him first, I think they are all excited.
We hope that this holiday season brings your families much joy and love as we remember the birth of our Savior and the miracle in our life that it is.
